THE CHALLENGE

Movie premiere nights is a biggies. We were tasked to build a stage worthy of a star-studded cast of actors that would be looking their best for the cameras. We intended to meet their best with ours.

The Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, CA has been home to countless movie premiers and hosted the most famous actors in the world. This stage needed to be as bold and as strong as the story behind the movie. With the two most difficult colors to work with, we made sure there were no compromises.

Our state of the art CNC cutting made short work of the lettering. The background was designed and cut out of sintra to fit perfectly into the allotted space. Jigs were designed to make sure the lettering was installed perfectly onsite. The LED under-lighting was perfectly planned out and installed with no slack or inches lost. Rigging and weight made sure this backdrop would sit in place through a nuclear event much like this premiere. With all of the electronics successfully hidden, and the steps at standard height, the actors had all of the room and confidence they needed to take on the flashes of the paparazzi.

This was truly a night to remember.
