THE CHALLENGE

Building a hot air balloon that fits through the door. A lot of our experience pays off when we are presented with logistical challenges where solutions work their way into the building process. It’s nice to build something and deliver it to the location, but walking a hot air balloon in through the front door was just not going to work of this REDKEN shop in NYC.

We had ourselves a design challenge on our hands that went beyond the build, but carried over into the installation. The entire balloon was built in-house, then dismantled so that it could be walked through the door and rebuilt onsite with no headaches.
